European Moves

We welcome moves from Europe back to the UK. In fact, we specialise in this type of moving. In particular, we have acquired vast knowledge of the Belgium cities of Brussels and Bruges which sets us apart from most typical British removal companies.

To provide the smoothest and most professional removal service possible, we like to establish the facts surrounding your relocation. We want everything to go as planned so, on all removals to and from Europe, we carry out a proactive desktop study to establish all the available information on the known addresses involved.

This is undertaken in addition to obtaining the usual information for what is needed to be moved, prior to even submitting our quote. Once we have compiled this information, we tailor our vehicle allocation, schedule, staffing and price our quotation accordingly, based on a wealth of experience from many previous moves into the area.

We are aware that in most European cities there is a need to organise permits with parking suspension and also to use Low Emission Zone (Umweltzone, Crit’Air Zone) compliant vehicles. In addition to this, if your move requires a delivery via a balcony, we can organise the hire of an external elevator. These services are subject to the minimum notice periods as specified by the local authorities.

With our unique fleet of mixed and very manoeuvrable vehicles, we ensure we have delivery solutions to overcome any known parking and access challenges. This is especially useful in cities such as Brussels and the historic city of Bruges, where we have previously encountered restrictions with the destination address.

Our attention to detail and knowledge of the region, combined with the specialist fleet which we have at our disposal, ensures our moves go to plan and results in happy customers.

New Horizons regularly carry out groupage and direct removals to Belgium and Europe from our ideally situated premises in Swindon, which is along the M4 corridor in Wiltshire. We are also happy to collect and deliver to any addresses conveniently located enroute to (or from) continental Europe, making us an ideal provider of European moves for residence also located in the South East and the Home Counties.
