Storage

New Horizons offer short term and long term household and business storage. Consignments are stored in sole use storage containers with the exception of oversized items. Storage can be on a self storage basis, as well as a traditional Removal and Storage basis.

New Horizons can store; furniture, household effects, business effects, archive and documents. We can also store motorcycles.

If you decide to store your belongings for any period of time, New Horizons will provide the most reliable and secure system of storage.

A coded inventory will be made at the time of collection by New Horizons, listing all items; this system is the most effective and ensures the well being of your belongings. A copy of the inventory will be given to you for your perusal.

An inventory is not taken for self-storage consignments.

When you need your items to come out of store just contact New Horizons with sufficient notice and a day will be arranged to deliver your goods and to settle your account.

Useful information

Each storage container can hold under 250 cubic feet of items. This is equivalent to about the same as two sets of 3 piece suites plus a few boxes.
External measurements – 5ft wide (left to right) x 7ft (depth) x 8ft tall
Internal measurements – all of the above measurements minus a few inches all round

Oversized items i.e. ladders and surf boards are wrapped, labelled and stored in the designated area.
