Furniture Packing Removals And StorageNew Horizons can offer a full packing service and also an unpacking service to suit your requirements.

If you prefer to pack yourself, New Horizons can offer advice on self packing to make your move less daunting. You are welcome to source your own packing materials, if you are packing.

Packing is one of the most important issues to take into account when moving especially if you want your valuables to arrive in top condition. All fragile items are packed to the highest standard with a realistic allocation of time. With this in mind, you will know that your most treasured possessions will be carefully wrapped and taken care of for that journey to your new property even if it is just down the road.

Specialist care is taken into consideration and each item is wrapped as if New Horizons owned it themselves, from china and glass to antiques and small ornaments. New Horizons ensure every fragile piece is packed with a “shock-absorber” (i.e. paper cushion or cardboard crumple zone) to avoid any impact during transit.

Wardrobe cartons are used to transport hanging garments in a crease free condition.

New Horizons recycles boxes whenever we can. Boxes which are no longer required can be collected, if we are in the area, provided they have been folded flat and are in a good usable condition. Customers are asked to dispose of all other waste materials in an appropriate manner.

Fine Antique Storage and RemovalsAntique and valuable packing

If you have high value items such as antiques or fine art we can pack / wrap the item and place in a bespoke made wooden case or crate, to offer extra protection, support and rigidity made by Dable Carpentry www.dablecarpentry.co.uk.

Wooden cases and crates for International shipments will need to be made from wood that has been "heat treated and stamped" to satisfy customs.

Overseas packing

To offer protection to furniture against transit movement and sweating whilst in the container, all furniture items are wrapped and packaged. By packaging the furniture it means the protection will remain in place and won’t fall off. The packaging can also be numbered and labelled. This service can also be offered on UK and European moves should a customer require it or have individual treasured items.

Business and Office packing and removalsBusiness & office moves packing

For professional business and office moving we can use plastic office moving crates. Security (lidded), standard, library and computer crates are available. Small scale moves may just require cardboard boxes.

New Horizons can pack if requested. All I.T. and communications will be bubble wrapped. Labels are supplied so the client can label both the packed crates and the furniture in accordance to the delivery layout.
